![]() Using Avaya Telephone FeaturesCall PickupCall Pickup enables users to answer calls ringing at other stations. You can set up groups of phone users who can answer each other's calls. When one group member is unavailable to answer a call, any of the other members can pick up the call from their phones. If multiple phones are ringing at the same time, the Call Pickup feature will answer the first call. Users can belong to only one Call Pickup group, which is usually a department or other group of people who have similar functions and are located in the same area so they can hear the phones they need to pick up. Note 1: If you did not dial *4 before *7 when you put your original call on hold, you will get a three way conference call with the two parties after you depress the FLASH/RECALL button. NOTE 2: It is very important to remember which caller is on which line button and how long each caller has been on hold. On Single line phones: FLASH, RECALL, TAP, & R all indicate the same button. Any single line set without this button will have to use the Switchhook button instead.
