A standard comma enables the campus switch to place a pause signal in your dialing string, and you will need two commas between the number to be called and your authorization code or credit card number.

To dial a local number: Dial 9 + comma (,) + ten digit number.

To dial a non-local number: Dial 9 + comma (,) + 1 + area code + seven-digit number

International calls: Dial 9 + comma (,) + 011 + country code + city code + number + comma + comma (,,) + your seven digit authorization billing code.
