Using Avaya Telephone Features
Data Privacy
The Data Privacy feature prevents any unwanted tones to be heard on the line (i.e. Call Waiting and Priority Call Tones).
This feature may only be used on calls being made outside the system. Feature must be activated each time before call is placed. Can not be activated while on an active call.
To Activate
- Listen for Dial Tone
- Dial # 50
- Dial desired number (may be within or outside of the switch)
To Cancel
- Hang up -- This feature is automatically canceled when you hang up
On Single line phones: FLASH, RECALL, TAP, & R all indicate the same button. Any single line set without this button will have to use the Switchhook button instead.
