Instructions for Telecommunications Order Forms
Form 7 -- Abbreviated Dialing Lists
This form is used to add, delete or modify Personal and/or Group Abbreviated dialing Lists. An Abbreviated Dialing list allows users to dial frequently called or emergency numbers with four digits.
Personal List: Only one per extension and a limit of 100 codes (00 to 99).
Action code
- A = Add
- C = Change
- D = Delete
Extension #: the extension number which will have the add, change, delete of an ADL.
List Size: Limit of 100, minimum of 5, in increments of 5.
Group List:

- A = Add
- C = Change
- D = Delete
Group #: New (assigned by Telecommunications Services) or an Existing Pick Up Group Number: You should have this number in your records. If you can not find it, please call the Telecom Help Desk, 346-NETS.
Controlling Extension #: The extension of the user who will "control" or maintain this group, all other users will have access to dial the numbers, but will not be able to modify any of the entries. You should keep this number for your records and should the extension be disconnected, the ADL needs to be changed to a new "controller". If you can not find it, please call the Telecom Help Desk, 346-NETS.
List Size: Limit of 100, minimum of 5, in increments of 5.
Extension # Assigned: other extensions who are allowed access to this group.
Dialing Code: Unique code assigned to a given Extension number associated with the group and used to dial each other within the group.
