Phone Basics for Analog Phones
For Analog Phones:
- Press the flash button on an analog set to either put a call on hold (park) or to begin the creation of a conference or three-way call.
- One can also use the switch hook by
quickly pressing the hook button on the
top of the phone. Functions in the same
way as pressing the flash button.
- To arrange to have a conference call
with more than 6 callers, schedule with
Lois Johnson at 6-1017.

To set forwarding:
- Listen for dial tone.
- Dial *2.
- Enter extension to forward to new number.
- Listen for confirmation tone (3 beeps), hang up

- Listen for dial tone.
- Dial #22, listen for confirmation tone.

Call park/pickup |
Park:
- From an analog phone, pick up the
receiver.
- Push the Flash button or tap the hook
so that you hear a dial tone.
- Dial * 4 to Park the call.
Pickup:
- Pick up the receiver of the phone where
you want to pickup the call.
- Dial # 7 7.
- Dial the extension where the call is
currently parked.
- Call should ring through.

Conference calls |
Analog Phone:
- Make an initial call.
- Press the switch hook or flash button to put the first caller on hold.
- Dial the extension you wish to add to your conference.
- Call should ring through.
- Press the switch hook or flash button again to connect the calls.

You can get up to thee calls with the three-way function in Analog phones.
You can accommodate 6 calls using one of these black IP phones.
If you need more than 6 callers, arrange a bridge call (up to 50 callers using bridge, see note 1 below) |
Send all calls
(usually to vm) |
To Set Send All Calls:
- Pick up the Receiver
- Dial *8 to set
- Listen for the confirmation tone (3 beeps), then hang up the phone.

- Dial #88 to set
- Listen for the confirmation tone (3 beeps), then hang up the phone.
